Secure Access and Support Guide for Ledger Wallet Users

🔐 What Does “Ledger Login” Really Mean?

Ledger® does not use a traditional login system like a username and password. Instead, your hardware wallet is your login. You gain access to your crypto accounts by physically connecting and unlocking your Ledger Nano S Plus or Ledger Nano X.

There is no web-based login, no online account, and no email-based sign-in. This is intentional to maximize security and user ownership.

🛠 How to Access Your Ledger Wallet

To “log in” to your crypto wallet using Ledger:

Step 1: Install Ledger Live

  • Download Ledger Live from the official Ledger site
  • Available for Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, and Android

Step 2: Connect Your Ledger Device

  • Nano S Plus: Connect via USB
  • Nano X: Use USB or Bluetooth (mobile only)

Step 3: Enter Your PIN

Input your PIN directly on your hardware device.

Step 4: Access Accounts

Once the device is unlocked and connected, Ledger Live syncs with your wallet and shows your balances, transactions, and portfolio.

🔐 All operations require manual confirmation on your device to proceed.

❗ Important: There Is No Ledger.com Login Page

If you see a site asking you to “log in” with:

  • An email
  • A password
  • Your recovery phrase

🚨 It’s a scam.

Ledger does not require any credentials. Your wallet access is local and secure — protected by your device and 24-word recovery phrase only.

🧠 What If You Lose Access?

🔄 Forgot Your PIN?

  • After 3 incorrect attempts, the device resets
  • Restore your wallet using your 24-word recovery phrase

🔐 Lost Ledger Live App?

  • Reinstall it
  • Connect your Ledger device
  • Ledger Live will resync your accounts

Your crypto is on the blockchain — not in the app. As long as you have your recovery phrase, you can always restore access.
